Links I Love

A necessary list to remember the good.

This weekend was filled with unexpected tragedy (can it ever be expected?) and sad news. As heartbreaking as it all is, I am glad to have a weekly ritual in place that focuses on bright ideas and interesting posts to draw me out of the stillness and into a place of gratitude. I will be traveling North this week, so I plan on pulling some posts out of the archives and keeping things light. Hug your loved ones and enjoy this week's nine finds. Xx.

1. Look at all of these blush colored sunnies

2. Dreaming about cooler weather and this sweater.

3. Such a simple Instagram with excellent book recommendations

4. A week of budgeting when unemployed in Jersey.

5. Thirteen stylish rooms that have me craving change and dark walls.

6. So all about these Trader Joe's meal hacks

7. Drinkable sunscreen?

8. Workout wear look book.

9. Create a bullet journal to process this life thing.

Have a lovely week. Xx.

Inspired Life: Our Deepest Fear

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Note from the Editor: this new series, Inspired Life, brings together written works, images, and movements meant to inspire and celebrate the grandiosity in everyday life. Xx.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
